Tracking and Analyzing System for the At-risk Diploma Students of Sukhothai Vocational College Using Real-time Localization

Abstract

This research paper aims to (1) develop a tracking and analysis system for attending the class of the risk students’ group, Vocational Certificate in Sukhothai Vocational College using Real-Time localization determination. (2) evaluate the effectiveness of the system, and (3) study the satisfaction of this system. The research was conducted according to the system development life cycle as follows. (1) collect user requirements. (2) analyze the existing system. (3) design the new system using UML. Tools used in system development are PHP and Java Script The database system was MySQL, and display technology through the Google Map API. The research tool includes a system performance evaluation by web application development specialists and a satisfaction assessment of system users from a purposefully selected sample group. The statistics used in the research include the mean and standard deviation. The research results show that the developed system can work efficiently and according to the objectives. The developed system has overall performance at a high level. The mean value was 4.27, and the standard deviation was 0.60. As for the satisfaction of the system from users, it was found that the level of satisfaction with the system in every aspect was at a high level, with a mean of 4.45 and a standard deviation of 0.54

งานวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ (1) พัฒนาระบบติดตามและวิเคราะห์การเข้าชั้นเรียนของนักเรียนกลุ่มเสี่ยงระดับประกาศนียบัตรวิชาชีพวิทยาลัยอาชีวศึกษาสุโขทัย โดยใช้การระบุตำแหน่งที่ตั้งแบบเรียลไทม์ (2) ประเมินประสิทธิภาพของระบบที่พัฒนาขึ้นและ (3) เพื่อศึกษาความพึงพอใจของระบบระบบที่พัฒนาขึ้นผู้วิจัยได้ดำเนินการวิจัยตามวงจรการพัฒนาระบบ ดังนี้ รวบรวมความต้องการของผู้ใช้ วิเคราะห์ระบบงานเดิม ออกแบบระบบงานใหม่ ด้วยยูเอ็มแอล สำหรับเครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการพัฒนาระบบ ได้แก่ PHP และJavaScript สร้างฐานข้อมูลด้วย MySQL และแสดงสารสนเทศผ่าน Google Map API ระบบที่พัฒนาขึ้นทำการประเมินประสิทธิภาพการทำงานของระบบโดยผู้เชี่ยวชาญด้านการพัฒนาเว็บแอปพลิเคชันและประเมินความพึงพอใจของผู้ใช้จากกลุ่มตัวอย่างที่เลือกแบบเจาะจง สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลได้แก่ ค่าเฉลี่ย และค่าเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน ผลการวิจัยพบว่า ระบบที่พัฒนาขึ้นสามารถทำงานได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพเป็นไปตามวัตถุประสงค์ โดยระบบที่พัฒนาขึ้นมีประสิทธิภาพการทำงานโดยรวมอยู่ในระดับมาก มีค่าเฉลี่ยเท่ากับ 4.27 และมีค่าเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐานเท่ากับ 0.60 ส่วนความพึงพอใจในการใช้งานของระบบจากผู้ใช้ พบว่าระดับความพึงพอใจต่อระบบในทุก ๆ ด้าน อยู่ในระดับมาก โดยมีค่าเฉลี่ยเท่ากับ 4.45 และมีค่าเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐานเท่ากับ 0.54
