Extension of Integrated Pest Management on Rice Farmers in Tha Nang Ngam Subdistrict, Bangrakam District, Phitsanulok Province

Abstract

The objectives of this research were to study 1) basic social and economic conditions; 2) rice production conditions, 3) knowledge about integrated pest management in rice production, 4) problems and suggestions regarding the extension of integrated pest management in rice production, and 5) extension needs of integrated pest management in rice production for farmers. The population is farmers who grow rice in the first year in Tha Nang Ngam Subdistrict Bang Rakam District, Phitsanulok Province Registered in 2023/2024, number 436 cases, resulting in a sample size of 209 cases using Taroyamane's calculation formula, error level at 0.05, simple sampling. using an interview form Data were analyzed using statistics: frequency, percentage, minimum, maximum, average, and standard deviation. and sequencing. The results of the research found that 1) The farmers were female, the average age of 50.66, the average of experience growing rice of 20.45 years, the average number of agricultural workers of 2.15 people, the average annual rice cultivation area of 32.48 rai, the average annual rice production of 808.64 kilograms/rai, the average annual rice production cost of 4,491.89 baht/rai. 2) Farmers were low-lying land to plant, The soil grown was clay. The planting area was in the irrigation area, growing rice variety 41, growing rice by sowing with water, brown leaf spot disease , harvest rice using a combine harvester. 3) Farmers of knowledge about integrated pest management in rice production at a high level on issues, using natural extracts. 4) Problems in integrated pest management in farmers' rice production at the moderate level, the issue was lack of weed management in the rice fields, lack of soil preparation to appropriate pH value and suggestions for promoting integrated pest management in rice production at a moderate level. Knowledge should be given about the benefits of plowing and drying the soil. And training should be organized on soil testing and soil preparation to have an appropriate acidity - alkalinity (pH) And 5) Farmers extension needs to integrated pest management in rice production at a high level. The issue of using farming methods preparing the soil to the appropriate acidity - alkalinity (pH).

การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษา 1) สภาพพื้นฐานทางสังคมและเศรษฐกิจ 2) สภาพการผลิตข้าว 3) ความรู้เกี่ยวกับการจัดการศัตรูพืชแบบผสมผสานในการผลิตข้าว 4) ปัญหาและข้อเสนอแนะเกี่ยวกับการส่งเสริม การจัดการศัตรูพืชแบบผสมผสานในการผลิตข้าว และ 5) ความต้องการการส่งเสริมการจัดการศัตรูพืชแบบผสมผสาน ในการผลิตข้าวของเกษตรกร ประชากรที่ใช้ในการศึกษา คือ เกษตรกรผู้ปลูกข้าวนาปี ในตำบลท่านางงาม อำเภอบางระกำ จังหวัดพิษณุโลก ที่ขึ้นทะเบียนปี 2566/2567 จำนวน 436 ราย ได้กลุ่มตัวอย่างจำนวน 209 ราย โดยใช้สูตรคำนวณของ ทาโรยามาเน ระดับความคลาดเคลื่อนที่ 0.05 สุ่มตัวอย่างแบบง่าย โดยใช้แบบสัมภาษณ์ วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยใช้สถิติ ค่าความถี่ ร้อยละ ค่าต่ำสุด ค่าสูงสุด ค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน และการจัดลำดับ ผลการวิจัย พบว่า 1) เกษตรกร เป็นเพศหญิง มีอายุเฉลี่ย 50.66 มีประสบการณ์ในการปลูกข้าว เฉลี่ย 20.45 ปี มีจำนวนแรงงานภาคการเกษตรเฉลี่ย 2.15 คน มีพื้นที่ปลูกข้าวนาปีเฉลี่ย 32.48 ไร่ ได้ผลผลิตข้าวนาปีเฉลี่ย 808.64 กิโลกรัม/ไร่ มีต้นทุนการผลิตข้าวนาปีเฉลี่ย 4,491.89 บาท/ไร่ 2) เกษตรกรมีพื้นที่ปลูกเป็นพื้นที่ลุ่ม ดินที่ปลูกเป็นดินเหนียว พื้นที่ปลูกอยู่ในเขตชลประทาน ปลูกข้าวพันธุ์ กข41 ปลูกข้าวแบบหว่านน้ำตม พบโรคใบจุด สีน้ำตาล เก็บเกี่ยวข้าวโดยใช้รถเกี่ยวนวดข้าว 3) เกษตรกรมีระดับความรู้เกี่ยวกับการจัดการศัตรูพืชแบบผสมผสาน ในการผลิตข้าว อยู่ในระดับมาก ประเด็นการใช้สารสกัดธรรมชาติ 4) มีปัญหาในการจัดการศัตรูพืชแบบผสมผสาน ในการผลิตข้าวของเกษตรกร ในระดับปานกลาง ประเด็น ขาดการจัดการวัชพืชที่อยู่ในแปลงข้าว ขาดการเตรียมดิน ให้มีค่าความเป็นกรด – ด่าง (pH) ที่เหมาะสม และมีข้อเสนอแนะการส่งเสริมการจัดการศัตรูพืชแบบผสมผสาน ในการผลิตข้าวในระดับปานกลาง ควรให้ความรู้เรื่องประโยชน์ของการไถพรวนและตากหน้าดิน และควรจัดอบรม เรื่องการตรวจดินและการเตรียมดินให้มีค่าความเป็นกรด – ด่าง (pH) ที่เหมาะสม และ 5) เกษตรกรมีความต้องการ การส่งเสริมการจัดการศัตรูพืชแบบผสมผสานในการผลิตข้าว ในระดับมาก ประเด็น ด้านการใช้วิธีเขตกรรม การเตรียมดินให้มีค่าความเป็นกรด – ด่าง (pH) ที่เหมาะสม
