| dc.description.abstract | การวิจัยเรื่องนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษา (1) สภาพทางสังคมและเศรษฐกิจของเกษตรกรผู้ผลิตมันแกว (2) ความรู้พื้นฐานเกี่ยวกับการผลิตมันแกวของเกษตรกร (3) สภาพการผลิตมันแกวของเกษตรกร (4) ความต้องการการส่งเสริมการผลิตมันแกวของเกษตรกร (5) ปัญหาและข้อเสนอแนะในการผลิตมันแกวของเกษตรกร ผลการวิจัยพบว่า (1) เกษตรกรส่วนใหญ่เป็นเพศชาย อายุเฉลี่ย 51.37 ปี สถานภาพสมรส จบการ ศึกษาระดับชั้นประถมศึกษา อาชีพหลักประกอบการเกษตร เป็นสมาชิกกลุ่มลูกค้าธนาคารเพื่อการเกษตรและสหกรณ์การเกษตร มีประสบการณ์ทาการเกษตรและการปลูกมันแกว เฉลี่ย 30.34 และ 24.13 ปี ตามลาดับ รับข้อมูลข่าวสารการเกษตรระดับมากที่สุดจากผู้นำท้องถิ่น และระดับมากจากการอบรม วิทยุโทรทัศน์ และหอกระจายข่าว มีสมาชิกและแรงงานในครัวเรือนเฉลี่ย 4.18 และ 2.39 คน พื้นที่ทาการเกษตรทั้งหมดและปลูกมันแกวเฉลี่ย 4.09 และ 1.31 ไร่ มีรายได้จากการจำหน่ายและรายจ่ายจากการผลิตมันแกวเฉลี่ย 32,948.47 และ 6,330.86 บาทต่อไร่ ตามลาดับ (2) เกษตรกรมีความรู้พื้นฐานเกี่ยวกับการผลิตมันแกวเฉลี่ยในระดับปานกลาง (3) สภาพการผลิตมันแกวของเกษตรกรส่วนใหญ่ ปลูกปีละ 1 ครั้ง ในที่สวน ดินร่วนปนทราย ทั้งแบบไม่ยกร่องและแบบยกร่อง ใช้เมล็ดพันธุ์เฉลี่ย 18.16 กิโลกรัมต่อไร่ของพันธุ์หัวใหญ่ (หนัก) ให้น้ำจากแหล่งน้ำธรรมชาติเฉลี่ย 1.46 ครั้งต่อรอบการผลิต โดยนับอายุในการเก็บเกี่ยว ขายส่งแก่พ่อค้าคนกลางและขายปลีกในราคาเฉลี่ย 9.53 และ 13.38 บาทต่อกิโลกรัม (4) เกษตรกรมีความต้องการระดับมากในการส่งเสริมเทคโนโลยีการแปรรูปผลผลิต การสนับสนุนเมล็ดพันธุ์ ในรูปแบบการเยี่ยมเยียนของเจ้าหน้าที่ (5) เกษตรกรมีปัญหาด้านการตลาดในภาพรวมระดับมาก โดยราคาผลผลิตไม่แน่นอนเป็นปัญหาระดับมากที่สุด และมีข้อเสนอแนะให้ภาครัฐหรือหน่วยงานที่เกี่ยวข้องประกันราคา ปรับปรุงพันธุ์ กำหนดราคาปุ๋ยและเมล็ดพันธุ์ สนับสนุนเครื่องมือเก็บเกี่ยว และให้ความรู้การเก็บรักษาเมล็ดพันธุ์ และการแปรรูปผลผลิต | th_TH |

| dc.description.abstractalternative | The objectives of this research were to study (1) socio-economic circumstance of yam bean farmers (2) fundamental yam bean knowledge of farmers (3) circumstance of yam bean production of farmers (4) extension needs of farmers for yam bean production (5) problems and suggestions for yam bean production of farmers. The population in this study was a number of 339 yam bean farmers in That Phanom District of Nakhon Phanom Province. A number of 183 samples were selected by simple random sampling. Data was collected by structured interview form and analyzed by computer program. Statistics used for data analysis included frequency, percentage, standard deviation, minimum value, maximum value and ranking. The findings were as follows. (1) Most of the farmers were male with their average age at 51.37 years, married and completed primary education level. Their main occupation was farmer. They were customers’ group of the Bank for Agriculture and Agricultural Cooperatives. Their average experiences in agriculture and yam bean cultivation were 30.34 years and 24.13 years respectively. They received updated agricultural news and information at the highest level from local leaders and at high level from training, television and information tower. Their average number of household member and household labor were 4.18 persons and 2.39 persons respectively. Their average total agricultural area and yam bean cultivating area were 4.09 rai and 1.31 rai respectively. Their average incomes from selling and cost in yam bean production were 32,948.47 baht/rai and 6,330.86 baht/rai respectively. (2) Their fundamental knowledge on yam bean was at medium level. (3) Their circumstance of yam bean production; most of them cultivated yam bean once a year in sandy loams plantation, both in raised beds and in non-raised beds using seeds averagely 18.16 kg/rai for big tuber (heavy) and watering from natural water resource averagely 1.46 times/production cycle, counting age of cultivated yam bean before harvest, average wholesale price to middlemen and retail price at 9.53 baht/kg and 13.38 baht/kg respectively. (4) The farmers’ needs at the high level were processing technology extension for their products processing, support them with seeds, in form of visits by government officials. (5) Their overall problem in marketing at the high level was uncertain price of products which was found at the highest level. It was suggested the government sector or office concerned to launch price insurance scheme, improvement of yam bean vareity, identify reasonable price of fertilizer and seeds, support of harvest equipment, and provide knowledge regarding seeds storage as well as products processing. | en_US |
