| dc.description.abstractalternative | This study aimed to: (1) study life styles of students of Naresuan University Phayao; (2) compare life styles of students of Naresuan University Phayao classified by demographic characteristics; (3) study the opinion of student about dormitory business. This research was a survey study. Population was 8.667 students of Naresuan University Phayao in regular program of bachelor degree who studied in 1-4 class year and in the academic year of 2008. Samples were 382 students obtained by the formula of Taro Yamane at the confidential level of 0.95 with sampling size of 382 students. All of them were selected with stratified sampling method by defined portion of population in each stratum. Data were analyzed with statistical methods of frequency, percentage, standard deviation, mean, t-test, One-way ANOVA and Least Significance Difference Multiple Comparison. The research revealed that: (1) lifestyle of students of Naresuan University Phayao in aspect of activities was found that the most frequent activity they did was watching TV and followed by surfing Internet, watching VCD/DVD and listening radio; in aspect of interest was found that the most interest was in family matters and followed by recreation, foods and media; in aspect of opinions was found that the most opinion was on dormitories and followed by political problems; (2) students with different genders had their differences of lifestyle in aspect of activities on hobby, activity participation as club member, sports; in aspect of interest in fashions, food, their opinions on political problems, education and future with statistical significance al .05 level. Students with different class years had their differences of lifestyle in aspect of activities on hobby, holidays, activity participation club member; aspect of interest in fashions, their opinions on political problems, business, education, future and culture with statistical significance at .05 level. Students with different monthly incomes (earnings) had their differences of lifestyle in aspect of activities on activity participation in club member, shopping; in aspect of interests in foods, their opinions on political problems, business, education, products and future with statistical significance at .05 level; (3) the opinion of student was found that dormitories should have cleanliness, safety and inexpensive price | en_US |
