Guidelines for Developing Internal Environmental Operation of Early Childhood Centers in Pluak Daeng District, Rayong Province

Abstract

The purposes of this research were to study 1) the internal environmental operation of early childhood centers in Pluak Daeng district, Rayong province; and 2) guidelines for developing internal environmental operation of early childhood centers in Pluak Daeng district, Rayong province.The research population comprised 50 administrators, teachers and educational personnel of early childhood centers in Pluak Daeng district, Rayong province. The key research informants were five experts. The employed research tools were a questionnaire on internal environmental operation of early childhood centers in Pluak Daeng district, Rayong province, with reliability coefficient of .95, and an interview form concerning guidelines for developing internal environmental operation of early childhood centers in Pluak Daeng district, Rayong province. Data were analyzed using the frequency distribution, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and content analysis. The research findings revealed that 1) the overall operation of internal environment of early childhood centers in Pluak Daeng district, Rayong province was rated at the highest level; the specific aspects of internal environmental operation could be ranked from top to bottom based on their rating means as follows: that of the learning and teaching, that of the interaction of the personnel, that of the management of internal environment of the early childhood center, and that of the buildings and facilities; and 2) guidelines for developing internal environmental operation of early childhood centers comprised the following: (1) the early childhood centers should determine the policies and appoint a work team to evaluate the environment condition in the pre-determined durations and submit the evaluation reports to the superior work unit regularly every year; (2) there should be the integration of all work divisions in seeking the learning sources both inside and outside of the classroom that are appropriate for every aspect of early childhood development; (3) there should be the emphasis on the participation in developing, improving, and solving the problems of environmental condition; and (4) there should be the preparation of educational development plans that promote the participation of the teachers, personnel, students and stakeholders, and enhance the good relationships among all stakeholders.

การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษา 1) การดำเนินงานด้านสภาพแวดล้อมภายในของศูนย์พัฒนาเด็กเล็ก อำเภอปลวกแดง จังหวัดระยอง และ 2) แนวทางการพัฒนาการดำเนินงานด้านสภาพแวดล้อมภายในของศูนย์พัฒนาเด็กเล็ก อำเภอปลวกแดง จังหวัดระยองประชากรที่ใช้ในการวิจัย คือ ผู้บริหาร ครูและบุคลากรทางการศึกษาของศูนย์พัฒนา เด็กเล็ก อำเภอปลวกแดง จังหวัดระยอง จำนวน 50 คน ผู้ให้ข้อมูล ได้แก่ ผู้เชี่ยวชาญ จำนวน 5 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัย ได้แก่ แบบสอบถามเกี่ยวกับการดำเนินงานด้านสภาพแวดล้อมภายในของศูนย์พัฒนาเด็กเล็ก อำเภอปลวกแดง จังหวัดระยอง ค่าความเที่ยงเท่ากับ .95 และแบบสัมภาษณ์เกี่ยวกับแนวทางการพัฒนาการดำเนินงานด้านสภาพแวดล้อมภายในของศูนย์พัฒนาเด็กเล็ก อำเภอปลวกแดง จังหวัดระยอง ทำการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยใช้ ความถี่ ค่าร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน และการวิเคราะห์เนื้อหา ผลการวิจัยปรากฏว่า 1) การดำเนินงานด้านสภาพแวดล้อมภายในของศูนย์พัฒนาเด็กเล็ก อำเภอปลวกแดง จังหวัดระยอง โดยภาพรวมอยู่ในระดับมากที่สุด เรียงจากมากไปน้อย ได้แก่ ด้านการเรียนการสอน ด้านปฏิสัมพันธ์ของบุคลากร ด้านการบริหารจัดการภายในสถานศึกษา และด้านอาคารสถานที่ และ 2) แนวทางการพัฒนาการดำเนินงานด้านสภาพแวดล้อมภายในของศูนย์พัฒนาเด็กเล็ก ประกอบด้วย (1) ควรกำหนดนโยบาย และจัดตั้งคณะทำงานประเมินสภาพแวดล้อมตามระยะเวลาที่กำหนด รวมถึงรายงานผลต่อต้นสังกัดเป็นประจำทุกปี (2) ควรมีการบูรณาการทุกฝ่ายในการจัดหาแหล่งเรียนรู้ภายในและภายนอกห้องเรียนที่เหมาะสมกับพัฒนาการทุกด้านของเด็กปฐมวัย (3) ควรมุ่งเน้นการมีส่วนร่วมในการพัฒนา ปรับปรุง และแก้ไขปัญหาด้านสภาพแวดล้อมร่วมกัน และ (4) ควรจัดทำแผนพัฒนาการศึกษาที่ช่วยส่งเสริมให้เกิดการมีส่วนร่วมของครู บุคลากร นักเรียนและผู้เกี่ยวข้อง รวมทั้งเสริมสร้างความสัมพันธ์อันดีของผู้มีส่วนได้ส่วนเสียทุกฝ่าย
