Organizational Leading of the University Administrators on Mission-Driven Effectiveness at Rajamangala University of Technology Rattanakosin

Abstract

The objectives of the research were: (1) to investigate the leadership level of administrators at Rajamangala University of Technology Rattanakosin, (2) to survey the effectiveness aligned with the university's mission, and (3) to study the influence of organizational leadership on mission-driven effectiveness. This research is mixed methods research. The population was divided into three groups: 10 senior executives, 14 faculty/college executives, and 81 divisional or equivalent executives, totaling 105 participants. The study examined senior executives and faculty/college executives. It used a sample group consisting of 66 divisional or equivalent executives determined using the Krejcie and Morgan Table. The total sample group included 90 participants consisting of 10 senior executives, 14 faculty/college executives, and 66 departmental or equivalent executives. The research instruments used were questionnaires and interviews. Statistical analyses included frequency, percentage calculation, mean, standard deviation, T-test, and F-test in multi-regression analysis. Qualitative data analysis utilized content analysis through the SWOT framework. As shown by the results, (1) Rajamangala University of Technology Rattanakosin had a level of organizational leadership that was statistically equal to or exceeded 80 percent at a significance level of 0.05. (2) The overall mission-driven effectiveness at Rajamangala University of Technology Rattanakosin was statistically equal to or exceeded 80 percent at the significance level of 0.05. (3) The study identified mission and operations, as well as creating value for society, as factors influencing mission-driven effectiveness at Rajamangala University of Technology Rattanakosin.

การวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษา (1) ระดับการนำองค์กรของผู้บริหารมหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีราชมงคลรัตนโกสินทร์ (2) ประสิทธิผลตามพันธกิจของมหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีราชมงคลรัตนโกสินทร์ (3) อิทธิพลการนำองค์กรของผู้บริหารต่อประสิทธิผลตามพันธกิจของมหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีราชมงคลรัตนโกสินทร์การวิจัยนี้เป็นการวิจัยแบบผสมวิธี ประชากรที่ใช้ในการวิจัย แบ่งเป็น 3 กลุ่ม ได้แก่ กลุ่มผู้บริหารระดับสูง จำนวน 10 คน กลุ่มผู้บริหารระดับ/คณะ/วิทยาลัย จำนวน 14 คน และกลุ่มผู้บริหารระดับกองและเทียบเท่า จำนวน 81คน รวมทั้งสิ้น 105 คน กลุ่มตัวอย่างผู้บริหารระดับสูงและกลุ่มผู้บริหารระดับ/คณะ/วิทยาลัยใช้การศึกษาจากประชากรทั้งหมด กลุ่มผู้บริหารระดับกองและเทียบเท่าจำนวน 66 คน มาจากกำหนดขนาดของกลุ่มตัวอย่างตามตารางของเครซี่และมอร์แกน รวมทั้งสิ้น 90 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ คือ แบบสอบถาม และแบบสัมภาษณ์ สถิติที่ใช้ ได้แก่ ความถี่ร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย ค่าส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน การทดสอบค่าที การวิเคราะห์ถดถอยเชิงพหุุ การวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลเชิงคุณภาพใช้การวิเคราะห์เนื้อหาโดยใช้กรอบ จุดแข็ง จุดอ่อน โอกาส และภัยคุกคามผลการวิจัยพบว่า (1) ระดับการนำองค์กรของผู้บริหารมหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีราชมงคลรัตนโกสินทร์ในภาพรวมเท่ากับหรือมากกว่า ร้อยละ 80 อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ 0.05 (2) ระดับประสิทธิผลตามพันธกิจของมหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีราชมงคลรัตนโกสินทร์ในภาพรวมเท่ากับหรือมากกว่าร้อยละ 80 อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ 0.05 (3) ปัจจัยที่มีอิทธิพลต่อประสิทธิผลตามพันธกิจของมหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีราชมงคลรัตนโกสินทร์ ได้แก่ ปัจจัยด้านพันธกิจและการดำเนินงาน และปัจจัยด้านการสร้างประโยชน์ให้สังคม โดยมีอิทธิพลต่อประสิทธิผลตามพันธกิจของมหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีราชมงคลรัตนโกสินทร์
