Extension of Vegetable Production According to the Standard of Good Agricultural Practices of Farmers in Nueakhlong District, Krabi Province

Abstract

The objectives of this research were to study 1) social and economic conditions, 2) vegetable production conditions, 3) knowledge about vegetable production according to the standard of good agricultural practices, 4) extension of vegetable production according to the standard of good agricultural practices, 5) problems and recommendations on the extension of vegetable production according to the standard of good agricultural practices of farmers.This research was survey research. The population consisted of 138 vegetable production farmers in Nueakhlong district, Krabi province who registered with the Department of Agricultural Extension in the production year of 2023/2024.The sample size of 103 people was determined by using the Taro Yamane formula with the error value of 0.05 and a simple random sampling method. Data were collected by conducting interviews. Statistics used were frequency, percentage, minimum, maximum, mean, standard deviation, and ranking.The results indicated the following: 1) Most of the farmers were females, and the average age was 50.95 years and graduated from primary school, the average member in the household of 3.99 people, the average agricultural labor of 2.27 people, the average experience in vegetable production was 13.49 years, and the average vegetable production training was 2.09 times from the district agricultural extension office, the average vegetable production cost of 2,116.71 baht per rai, the average income of 5,376.99 baht per rai, and used their funding source. 2) Most of the farmers had vegetable production average area of 2.42 rai. The average vegetable production cycle of 1.78 times per year. Selling produces such as fresh vegetables at the community market. 3) Most farmers knew good agricultural practices at the highest level on the topic of the water source must be clean and free of contamination from dangerous objects or things and lack of knowledge in data recording issues about recording survey data and preventing pest control. 4) Farmers were encouraged to produce vegetables according to good agricultural practices to group extension in training to provide knowledge on vegetable production according to good agricultural practices. 5) Farmers had problems with group extension methods at a high level. In terms of the issue of lack of field study trips. It is suggested that methods should be added to extend knowledge on the use of agricultural hazardous substances in vegetable production according to good agricultural practices to obtain standard certification. and should organize study visits outside the field.

การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษา 1) สภาพพื้นฐานทางสังคมและเศรษฐกิจ 2) สภาพการผลิตผัก 3) ความรู้เกี่ยวกับการปฏิบัติทางการเกษตรที่ดี 4) การส่งเสริมการผลิตผักตามการปฏิบัติทางการเกษตรที่ดี 5) ปัญหาและข้อเสนอแนะเกี่ยวกับการส่งเสริมการผลิตผักตามการปฏิบัติทางการเกษตรที่ดีของเกษตรกรการวิจัยนี้เป็นงานวิจัยแบบสำรวจ ประชากรที่ศึกษา คือ เกษตรกรผู้ปลูกผักในอำเภอเหนือคลอง จังหวัดกระบี่ ที่ขึ้นทะเบียนเกษตรกรกับกรมส่งเสริมการเกษตร ปี 2566/2567 จำนวน 138 ราย กำหนดขนาด กลุ่มตัวอย่างโดยใช้สูตรของทาโร ยามาเน ที่ระดับความคลาดเคลื่อน 0.05 ได้กลุ่มตัวอย่างจำนวน 103 ราย โดยวิธีสุ่มตัวอย่างแบบง่าย เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูล คือ แบบสัมภาษณ์ และมีการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยใช้สถิติ ได้แก่ ค่าความถี่ ค่าร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย ค่าต่ำสุด ค่าสูงสุด ค่าเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน และการจัดอันดับผลการวิจัย พบว่า 1) เกษตรกรส่วนใหญ่เป็นเพศหญิง อายุเฉลี่ย 50.95 ปี จบการศึกษาระดับประถมศึกษา จำนวนสมาชิกในครัวเรือนเฉลี่ย 3.99 คน จำนวนแรงงานในครัวเรือนเฉลี่ย 2.27 คน ประสบการณ์ในการผลิตผักเฉลี่ย 13.49 ปี การฝึกอบรมเรื่องการผลิตผักเฉลี่ย 2.09 ครั้ง จากสำนักงานเกษตรอำเภอ มีต้นทุนการผลิตผักเฉลี่ย 2,116.71 บาทต่อไร่ มีรายได้จากการผลิตผักเฉลี่ย 5,376.99 บาทต่อไร่ แหล่งเงินทุนที่ใช้ในการผลิตผักเป็นของตนเอง 2) เกษตรกรมีพื้นที่ผลิตผักเฉลี่ย 3.33 ไร่ รอบการผลิตผักเฉลี่ย 1.78 ครั้งต่อปี จำหน่ายผลผลิตเป็นผักสด และจำหน่ายผลผลิตที่ตลาดในชุมชน 3) เกษตรกรส่วนใหญ่มีความรู้เกี่ยวกับการปฏิบัติทางการเกษตรที่ดี อยู่ในระดับมากที่สุด ในประเด็นแหล่งน้ำต้องสะอาดไม่มีการปนเปื้อนของวัตถุหรือสิ่งที่เป็นอันตราย และขาดความรู้ในประเด็นการบันทึกข้อมูล เกี่ยวกับการบันทึกข้อมูลการสำรวจและการป้องกันการกำจัดศัตรูพืช 4) เกษตรกรได้รับการส่งเสริมการผลิตผักตามการปฏิบัติทางการเกษตรที่ดีในระดับมาก ด้านการส่งเสริมแบบกลุ่มในการอบรมให้ความรู้ด้านการผลิตผักตามการปฏิบัติทางการเกษตรที่ดี 5) เกษตรกรมีปัญหาในระดับมาก ด้านวิธีการส่งเสริมแบบกลุ่ม ในประเด็นขาดการศึกษาดูงานนอกสถานที่ และมีข้อเสนอแนะควรเพิ่มวิธีการส่งเสริมด้านความรู้เรื่องการใช้วัตถุอันตรายทางการเกษตรเกี่ยวกับการผลิตผักตามการปฏิบัติทางการเกษตรที่ดีเพื่อให้ได้การขอรับรองมาตรฐาน และควรจัดศึกษาดูงานนอกสถานที่
