Development of an Information System for Industrial Waste Data Collection in a Rope Manufacturing Industry in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province

Abstract

The objective of this independent study was to develop an information system for industrial waste data collection in a rope manufacturing industry in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya province.This study developed a prototype using Microsoft Excel to collect industrial waste data. The design followed the reporting structure of the central industrial waste data reporting system of the Ministry of Industry, covering 12 topics. It also included 18 items of waste data generated from the production process and the production support process of this factory. Subsequently, the industrial waste data collection program that was developed was provided to actual users in the factory for testing and system evaluation.The developed system consists of four main components: (1) Input section for industrial waste data into the information system, (2) Output section for displaying analysis results of industrial waste data, (3) Settings section for configuring details of industrial waste, and (4) Database section for industrial waste data. As per its evaluation, the system has been found to be highly positive across its objectives, system performance, user-friendliness, and overall satisfaction with average scores of 4.50, 4.67, 4.42, and 4.33 respectively. Regarding system usability, it also received a high satisfaction rating with an average score of 4.11. In summary, the satisfaction of the industrial waste data/information collection system at the rope manufacturing industry is rated at the highest level with an average score of 4.41 (88.2%).

การศึกษาค้นคว้าอิสระครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อพัฒนาระบบสารสนเทศในการรวบรวม ข้อมูลของเสียอุตสาหกรรมที่กักเก็บภายในโรงงานผลิตเชือกแห่งหนึ่งในจังหวัดพระนครศรีอยุธยาการศึกษานี้เป็นการพัฒนาต้นแบบชิ้นงานได้นำโปรแกรมไมโครซอฟท์เอกซ์เซลมาใช้ ในการรวบรวมข้อมูลของเสียอุตสาหกรรม โดยออกแบบตามการรายงานข้อมูลการกักเก็บของเสีย อุตสาหกรรมในระบบการรายงานข้อมูลกลางกระทรวงอุตสาหกรรม จำนวน 12 หัวข้อ และข้อมูล ของเสียที่เกิดขึ้นจากกระบวนการผลิตและกระบวนการสนับสนุนกระบวนการผลิตของโรงงานแห่งนี้ จำนวน 18 รายการ จากนั้นได้นำโปรแกรมรวบรวมข้อมูลของเสียอุตสาหกรรมที่พัฒนาขึ้นไปให้ ผู้ทดสอบและประเมินการใช้งานระบบซึ่งเป็นผู้ใช้งานจริงในโรงงานระบบที่ได้พัฒนาขึ้นประกอบด้วย 4 ส่วนหลัก ได้แก่ (1) ส่วนรับเข้าข้อมูลของเสียอุตสาหกรรม สู่ระบบสารสนเทศ (2) ส่วนแสดงผลการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลของเสียอุตสาหกรรม (3) ส่วนตั้งค่ารายละเอียด ของเสียอุตสาหกรรม และ (4) ส่วนฐานข้อมูลของเสียอุตสาหกรรม ซึ่งมีผลประเมินการใช้งานระบบ ด้านการใช้งานตามวัตถุประสงค์ของระบบ ด้านการทำงานของระบบ ด้านความสะดวกในการใช้งานระบบ ด้านภาพรวมของระบบอยู่ในระดับความพึงพอใจมากที่สุด มีคะแนนเฉลี่ย 4.50 4.67 4.42 และ 4.33 ตามลำดับ และด้านความน่าใช้งานของระบบอยู่ในระดับความพึงพอใจมาก มีคะแนนเฉลี่ย 4.11 สรุปโดยรวมระบบสารสนเทศเพื่อรวบรวมข้อมูลของเสียอุตสาหกรรมที่กักเก็บภายในโรงงานผลิตเชือก แห่งนี้อยู่ในระดับความพึงพอใจมากที่สุด มีคะแนนเฉลี่ย 4.41 (88.2 %)
