dc.description.abstractalternativeThe objective of this research was to compare Thai interpretive reading abilities of Prathom Suksa VI students before and after learning through the instruction using CIRC technique of cooperative learning. The research sample consisted of 25 Prathom Suksa VI students of Wat Sukchai School under Khlong Sam Wa District, Bangkok Metropolitan Administration, obtained by cluster random sampling using school as the sampling unit. The employed research instruments were (1) learning management plans for the instruction using CIRC technique of cooperative learning, and (2) a Thai interpretive reading ability test. Statistics employed for data analysis were the mean, standard deviation, and t-test. The research results showed that the post-learning Thai interpretive reading ability of Prathom Suksa VI students, who learned under the instruction using CIRC technique of cooperative learning, was significantly higher than their pre-learning counterpart ability at the .05 level of statistical significance.en_US
