dc.description.abstractalternativeThe purposes of this research were to (1) study organization culture in local government organizations of Nakhon Sawan province, (2) compare the opinions of personnel on organization culture in local government organizations of Nakhon Sawan province classified by personal factors and type of organizations (3) study the approach to develop appropriate organization culture in local government organizations of Nakhon Sawan province. Samples in this study, 400 totally, included local administrator, government officers, permanent employees, temporarily hired employees, members of the organizations’ councils. Multistage sampling method was employed in the random. Instrument used was three-part questionnaire with level of confidence at 0.904 for clan culture part, 0.892 for adaptability culture part, 0.897 on hierarchy culture part, and 0.827 on achievement culture part. Statistical tools employed were percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, F-test with level of significance at 0.05. The study found that (1) organization culture in local administration of Nakhon Sawan province was hierarchy type in high level (2) personnel with different genders had different opinions on hierarchy organization culture, personnel with different positions had different opinions on clan organization culture, adaptability organization culture and hierarchy organization culture, and personnel in different government organizations had different opinions on clan organization culture and hierarchy organization culture (3) clan organization culture should be developed so to emphasize character development of leaders and organizations’ membersen_US
