dc.description.abstractalternativeThe purposes of this research were to: 1) study die practical leadership achievement of the middle-level managers; 2) study the practical leadership skills of the middle-level managers; 3) compare the distinction in demographic characteristics toward practical leadership skills and achievement of the middle-level mangers; and 4) study the association between practical leadership skills and achievement of the middle-level managers. The demography is staff of Super Centers. The studied samples were 400 storehouse employees who worked for the urban Super Centers in Bangkok Metropolis, including Macro, Tesco Lotus, and Big c. The questionnaires were used as instrument to gather data and random employees by personnel of companies. Content validity of the questionnaire was conducted with reliability of 0.80. The statistics for data analysis included percentage (%)1 mean (X), standard deviation (S.D), t-test, F-test, and Pearson’s correlation coefficient. The results showed that: I) the practical leadership achievement of the middle-level managers at the Super Centers was at the good level in all respects; 2) The practical leadership skills were at the good level in overall 6 areas; 3) the results of distinction showed that 3.1) demographically, the differences in sex, age, educational background, marital status, monthly income, position, number of employees, and organization which they worked had insignificant influence on the practical leadership achievement of the middle-level mangers whereas work experiences had significant influence on practical leadership achievement of the middle-level mangers at .01 level; 3.2) the differences in sex, age, educational background, marital status, monthly income, position, and work experience had insignificant influence on practical leadership skills whereas number of employees and organization which they worked had significant influence on practical leadership skills at .01 level; and 4) the practical leadership skills appeared to be positively associated with practical leadership achievement of the middle-level mangers with statistically significant levelen_US
