dc.description.abstractalternativeThis research aimed to: (1) study staff's opinions of Suranaree University of Technology on factors affecting being the learning organization; (2) compare staffs opinions of Suranaree University of Technology on factors affecting being the learning organization classified by their personal style; and (3) suggest ways to reinforce being the learning organization of Suranaree University of Technology. This research was a survey research. The population was of 1,010 staff of Suranaree University of Technology working between January - October 2009 and 286 staff were the sample. Tools used was a questionnaire with reliability value of 0.935. Data were analyzed by using descriptive statistics including percentage, mean, standard deviation and inferential statistics including t-test, F-test, One-way analysis of variance, and Scheffe’s method. Research results revealed that: (1) Opinion of staff about factors affecting overall organization of learning at the high level 1) application of technology 2) learning dynamics 3) organizations transformation 4) knowledge management 5) people empowerment; (2) Factors affecting the organization of learning. Classified by the following personnel. 1) sex was found male and female opinions at a high level, with males have an average than females. 2) Age was found that the learning dynamics. The difference statistically significant at 0.01. for the organization transformation, people empowerment, the difference statistically significant at 0.05. 3) marital status was found that the learning dynamics, people empowerment, the difference statistically significant at 0.05.4) educational level was the application of technology, the difference statistically significant at 0.05. 5) work duration was found that organization transformation, the difference statistically significant at 0.05. and 6) the position was found no different. (3) Suranaree University of Technology should provide a training workshop on the transfer and coaching techniques to increase supervisors. Preparation of operational manual of Supervisors, and announced a policy of knowledge sharing activitiesen_US
