Success Factors Affecting Total Quality Management System Implementation for Amata City Industrial Estate in Chonburi

Abstract

This study aimed to (1) investigate the personal factors of employees in Amata City Industrial Estate in Chonburi, who implement total quality management system in their organization, (2) examine the job characteristics of employees in Amata City Industrial Estate in Chonburi, who implement total quality management system, (3) study the success factors in implementation total quality management system in Amata City Industrial Estate in Chonburi, (4) compare the success factors in implementation total quality management system in Amata City Industrial Estate Chonburi, classified by personal factors, and (5) analyze job characteristics factors affecting the success factors in implementation total quality management system in Amata City Industrial Estate in Chonburi.This study is quantitative research. The population consisted of employees of companies in Amata City Industrial Estate in Chonburi, as a total of 210,000 people. The sample group was determined by Taro Yamane formula with a total of 400 people using convenience sampling method. The tool used was a constructed questionnaire. Statistical data analysis was frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-Test, One-way ANOVA and Multiple Regression Analysis.The results of the study found that (1) most of the respondents were female, aged between 35-44 years and had completed a bachelor's degree. Most of them had positions at the operational level, and had more than 10 years of work experience. (2) Job characteristics factors of employees who implement total quality management system in Amata City Chonburi Industrial Estate were overall at a high level. (3) The success factors in implementation total quality management system were overall at a high level. (4) The employees with personal factors in terms of age and work experience, had different opinions on the success factors in implementation total quality management system in Amata City Chonburi Industrial Estate, with statistical significance at the 0.05 level. (5) Job characteristics factors include autonomy and feedback factors affected the success factors in implementation total quality management system in Amata City Chonburi Industrial Estate with statistical significance at the 0.05 level. They can jointly predict the variation in success factors, accounting for 65.70 percent.

การศึกษานี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษา (1) ปัจจัยส่วนบุคคลของพนักงานในนิคมอุตสาหกรรมอมตะซิตี้ ชลบุรี ที่นำระบบจัดการคุณภาพทั่วทั้งองค์การ มาใช้ในองค์การ (2) ปัจจัยลักษณะงานของพนักงานในนิคมอุตสาหกรรมอมตะซิตี้ ชลบุรี ที่นำระบบจัดการคุณภาพทั่วทั้งองค์การ มาใช้ในองค์การ (3) ปัจจัยความสำเร็จของการนำระบบจัดการคุณภาพทั่วทั้งองค์การ มาใช้ในนิคมอุตสาหกรรมอมตะซิตี้ ชลบุรี (4) เปรียบเทียบปัจจัยความสำเร็จของการนำระบบจัดการคุณภาพทั่วทั้งองค์การ มาใช้ในนิคมอุตสาหกรรมอมตะซิตี้ ชลบุรี จำแนกตามปัจจัยส่วนบุคคล (5) ปัจจัยลักษณะงานที่มีผลต่อปัจจัยความสำเร็จของการนำระบบจัดการคุณภาพทั่วทั้งองค์การ มาใช้ในนิคมอุตสาหกรรมอมตะซิตี้ ชลบุรีการศึกษานี้เป็นการวิจัยเชิงปริมาณ ประชากร คือ พนักงานบริษัทในนิคมอมตะชิตี้ ชลบุรี จำนวน 210,000 คน กำหนดขนาดกลุ่มตัวอย่างโดยใช้วิธีการคำนวณของทาโร ยามาเน ได้กลุ่มตัวอย่างจำนวน 400 ตัวอย่าง ด้วยวิธีการสุ่มตามสะดวก เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการศึกษาคือแบบสอบถาม สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล ได้แก่ ความถี่ ร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน การทดสอบค่าที ค่าความแปรปรวนทางเดียว และการวิเคราะห์ความถดถอยเชิงพหุคูณผลการศึกษาพบว่า (1) พนักงานส่วนใหญ่เป็นเพศหญิง อยู่ในช่วงอายุ 35-44 ปี สำเร็จการศึกษาในระดับปริญญาตรี ส่วนใหญ่มีตำแหน่งงานอยู่ในระดับปฏิบัติการ และมีประสบการณ์การทำงานมากกว่า 10 ปี (2) ปัจจัยลักษณะงานของพนักงานในนิคมอุตสาหกรรมอมตะซิตี้ ชลบุรี ที่นำระบบจัดการคุณภาพทั่วทั้งองค์การ มาใช้ในองค์การ โดยรวมอยู่ในระดับมาก (3) ปัจจัยความสำเร็จของการนำระบบจัดการคุณภาพทั่วทั้งองค์การมาใช้ในนิคมอุตสาหกรรมอมตะซิตี้ ชลบุรี โดยรวมอยู่ในระดับมาก (4) พนักงานในนิคมอุตสาหกรรมอมตะซิตี้ ชลบุรีที่มีปัจจัยส่วนบุคคลด้านอายุ และด้านประสบการณ์ทำงานแตกต่างกันมีความเห็นเกี่ยวกับปัจจัยความสำเร็จของการนำระบบการจัดการคุณภาพทั่วทั้งองค์การต่างกัน อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ 0.05 (5) ปัจจัยลักษณะงาน ได้แก่ ความมีอิสระ และปัจจัยป้อนกลับ มีผลต่อปัจจัยความสำเร็จในการนำระบบจัดการคุณภาพทั่วทั้งองค์การมาใช้ในนิคมอุตสาหกรรมอมตะซิตี้ ชลบุรี อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ 0.05 สามารถร่วมกันพยากรณ์ความผันแปรของปัจจัยความสำเร็จ คิดเป็นร้อยละ 65.70
