| dc.description.abstract | การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีจุดประสงค์เพื่อศึกษา (1) ประวัติความเป็นมาและความเชื่อเกี่ยวกับ สมเด็จเจ้าเกาะยอ และ (2) พิธีกรรมเกี่ยวกับความเชื่อที่มีต่อสมเด็จเจ้าเกาะยอของชุมชนเกาะยอ ตำบลเกาะยอ อำเภอเมึอง จังหวัดสงขลา การวิจัยนี้เป็นการวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพ โดยใช้แบบสัมภาษณ์แบบไม่มีโครงสร้าง ร่วมกับการ สังเกตแบบมีส่วนร่วม โดยการเก็บข้อมูลจากผู้นำชุมชน จำนวน 5 คน ผู้ประกอบพิธีกรรมหรือผู้นำ ศาสนาพุทธ จำนวน 4 คน ชาวบ้านผู้ร่วมพิธีกรรมหรือชาวบ้านที่บนบานต่อสมเด็จเจ้าเกาะยอ จำนวน 10 คน และชาวบ้านในตำบลเกาะยอ 9 หมู่บ้าน จำนวน 18 คน ผลการวิจัยสรุปได้ว่า สมเด็จเจ้าเกาะยอ เป็นพระสงฆ์ที่เดินทางมาจากกรุงศรีอยุธยาจน มาถึงเกาะยอ และพำนักอาศัย ณ เขากุฎเพื่อเผยแผ่พระพุทธศาสนา จวบจนวาระสุดท้ายของชีวิต ได้มรณภาพลงที่เขากุฎ ชาวเกาะยอจึงได้สร้างเจดีย์เพื่อบรรจุอัฐิสมเด็จเจ้าเกาะยอ สำหรับความเชื่อ เกี่ยวกับสมเด็จเจ้าเกาะยอ จำแนกความเชื่อได้ 2 กลุ่ม คือ (1) ความเชื่อเกี่ยวกับองค์สมเด็จเจ้าเกาะยอ ประกอบด้วย ความเชื่อเกี่ยวกับบ่อน้ำศักดิ์สิทธิ์ ความเชื่อเกี่ยวกับปาฏิหาริย์ ความเชื่อเกี่ยวกับวัตถุ มงคล ความเชื่อเกี่ยวกับการบนบาน และความเชื่อเกี่ยวกับพิธีแก้บน (2) ความเชื่อกันเนื่องมาจาก พิธีกรรมเกี่ยวกับสมเด็จเจ้าเกาะยอ ประกอบด้วย ความเชื่อเกี่ยวกับการแสดงมหรสพ ความเชื่อ เกี่ยวกับการบูชาเทียนสามง่าม ความเชื่อเกี่ยวกับการแห่ผ้าขึ้นเขากุฎ ความเชื่อเกี่ยวกับองค์พระเจดีย์ ความเชื่อเกี่ยวกับการห่มผ้าองค์พระเจดีย์ และความเชื่อเกี่ยวกับรูปเคารพ ส่วนพิธีกรรมเกี่ยวกับ สมเด็จเจ้าเกาะยอ ประกอบด้วย พิธีสมโภชผ้า พิธีห่มผ้าองค์พระเจดีย์ และพิธีแก้บน จากการ วิเคราะห์คุณค่าที่เกิดจากความเชื่อและพิธีกรรมเกี่ยวกับสมเด็จเจ้าเกาะยอ พบคุณค่าด้านสังคมและ วัฒนธรรม คุณค่าด้านศาสนา และคุณค่าด้านเศรษฐกิจ | th_TH |

| dc.description.abstractalternative | The purposes of this research were to study (1) the history and beliefs in Somdcl Choa Koh Yo, (2) the rituals about the beliefs in Somdet Choa Koh Yo in Kho Yo, Kho Yo Sub District Mueang Songkhla District, Songkhla Province. The qualitative method, unstructured interview and participant observation were used in this research by collecting data from five leaders of the community, four ritual performers or Buddhist leaders, ten villagers who participated in rituals or villagers who made vows to Somdet Choa Koh Yo and eighteen villagers which were from nine village of Kho Yo Subdistrict. The results of this research showed that Somdet Choa Koh Y0 was a monk who was from Ayutthaya and came to Kho Yo. Then he went to Khao Kut and lived there until the end of his life to disseminate Buddhism. The pagoda was built by Kho Yo villagers to put the retain of Somdet Choa Koh Yo. The beliefs in Somdet Choa Koh Yo can be divided in to two groups: (1) the beliefs in Somdet Choa Koh Yo which consist of beliefs in a sacred well, beliefs in miracles, beliefs in sacred objects, beliefs in making vows, beliefs in the fulfillment of a vow ceremony; (2) the beliefs in Somdet Choa Koh Yo related to the rituals which consist of beliefs in entertainment, beliefs in trident candle worship, beliefs in a parade of the sacred cloth through Khao Kut, beliefs in the pagoda, beliefs in wrapping the sacred cloth around the pagoda and beliefs in sacred statues. The rituals about Somdet Choa Koh Yo consisted of the celebration of the sacred cloth, the ceremony of wrapping the sacred cloth around the pagoda and the fulfillment of a vow ceremony. The values of society and customs, the values of religion and the values of economy arc found from the analysis of the values from the rituals and beliefs in Somdet Choa Koh Yo | en_US |
