dc.description.abstractการวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ เพื่อเปรียบเทียบความสามารถด้านการอ่านเพื่อความเข้าใจของนักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 5 โรงเรียนนานาชาติบางกอกพรี แพราธอรี แอนด์เซ็กเคินเดอรี ระหว่างก่อนและหลังการสอนภาษาแบบองค์รวม กลุ่มตัวอย่างที่ใช้ในการวิจัยเป็นนักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปี ที่ 5 โรงเรียนนานาชาติบางกอกพรีแพราธอรีแอนด์เซ็กเคินเดอรี ภาคเรียนที่ 1 ปีการศึกษา 2560จำนวน 1 ห้องเรียน จำนวน 17 คน ได้มาโดยวิธีการสุ่มแบบกลุ่ม เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัยประกอบด้วย (1) แผนการจัดการเรียนรู้ภาษาแบบองค์รวม และ (2) แบบทดสอบวัดความสามารถด้านการอ่านเพื่อความเข้าใจ สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล ได้แก่ ค่าเฉลี่ยค่าส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน และการทดสอบค่าทีผลการวิจัยพบว่า ความสามารถด้านการอ่านเพื่อความเข้าใจของนักเรียนหลังการจัดการเรียนรู้ตามแนวการสอนภาษาแบบองค์รวม สูงกว่าก่อนเรียนอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .01th_TH

dc.description.abstractalternativeThe purpose of this research was to compare reading comprehension abilities of Prathom Suksa V students at Bangkok International Preparatory and Secondary School before and after being taught with the whole language teaching approach. The research sample consisted of 17 Prathom Suksa V students in an intact classroom of Bangkok International Preparatory and Secondary School during the first semester of the 2017 academic year, obtained by cluster sampling. The employed research instruments were (1) learning management plans for the whole language teaching approach; (2) a reading comprehension ability test. Statistics employed for data analysis were the mean, standard deviation, and t-test. The research findings showed that the post-experiment reading comprehension ability of the students after being taught with the whole language teaching approach was significantly higher than their pre-experiment counterpart ability at the .01 level.en_US
